Lupp + Partner advised the shareholders of Tapetenfabrik Gebr. Rasch GmbH & Co. KG on the sale of a controlling stake to The Wallfashion House (Grandeco Wallfashion Group). Rasch Tapeten, the second largest wallpaper and textile manufacturer in Germany with a history that goes back to 1861, is joining forces with The Wallfashion House, a leading European association of designers and producers of wall decoration products. The Wallfashion House has acquired a controlling stake in Tapetenfabrik Gebr. Rasch GmbH & Co. KG. Lupp + Partner advised the Rasch family on all relevant legal aspects of the sale transaction. The advice included not only the direct transaction documentation relating to the sale and remaining minority interest, but also long-term lease agreements for domestic and foreign production sites. Tilman Siebert was most recently a partner at King & Wood Mallesons and advises companies and investors on the entire range of competition law issues, in particular merger control, as well as in the area of foreign investment control regulation. He has many years of experience in particular in advising private equity investors and companies such as Deutsche Beteiligungs AG, VR Equitypartner and STAR Capital, and advising on cross-border transactions. American based Lakeland Industries manufactures and sells a comprehensive line of industrial protective clothing and accessories through over 2,000 global safety and industrial supply distributors. The acquisition of LHD Group accelerates Lakeland's long-term growth strategy to expand their fire protection market share. It was a great pleasure once again for Lupp + Partner to work with the British delegation during the 60th anniversary of  the Munich Security Conference, enabling the British Foreign Secretary, the Rt Hon Lord David Cameron and the British Defence Secretary, the Rt Hon Grant Shapps, to host bilateral meetings with a number of the UK's international partners to discuss global security issues.   We are grateful to have been able to contribute to what is one of the most important foreign policy and diplomatic peace promoting conferences in the world, in particular in such times of turmoil and irrationality.   We are looking forward to supporting the Munich Security Conference again next year. #msc #defence #foreignaffairs #foreignpolicy #diplomats #peaceandsecurity
