$26,982,000 revenue in one week for this game made by 3 people - Battlebit. ▶️ Battlefield combat meets Roblox graphics ▶️ 800,000 wishlists before release ▶️ Over 80,000 concurrent players on peak ▶️ Developed by a team of only 3 Battlebit is taking social media by storm, the same hype for an indie title we first saw with Among Us & Fall Guys. How long will it last? As a previous top-level competitive Battlefield player, the game looks fantastic. It has plenty of depth of classes, vehicles and customisation, all wrapped up in cute Roblox-style graphics. I wonder if EA will try to buy them and call it - Battlefield: Blocks? I love this article; accessibility can be fun! This quote stood out to me as it’s not often the definition of “inclusive” in the product design world: “Inclusive design is the concept of providing accessibility without settings in a menu.” It’s helpful for deciding when to provide accessibility out-of-the-box and when to do it via additional settings.

What can we and developers and studios do to advance accessibility in games? On May 8, in our Gamecity Impulse panel discussion, we talked about accessibility in games with our experts David Evans from Falling Squirrel Inc. (The Vale - Shadow of the Crown), Dennis Winkens - "WheelyWorld" , and Ela Peterhansl from Ubisoft Düsseldorf. Thank you for your valuable insights and the wonderful discussion!
