Voacanga africana (Voacanga)
Voacanga Africana comes from the Dogbane family, native to West Africa.
The genus is closely related to that of Tabernanthe iboga. It is used traditionally as a stimulant, to increase sexual drive and as a ceremonial psychedelic.
The effects occurd due to that it contains a mixture of iboga
alkaloids which include voacangine, voacamine, vobtusine, amataine, akuammidine, tabersonine coronaridine and vobtusine
PROCESSING METHOD:
The Voacanga Africana root bark are harvested, the roots are then washed in clean water to remove soil remains and other roots debris to ensure quality powder.
Sharp knife is carefully used to remove the bark of the Voacanga Africana roots, the barks are then dried, when dried, they are further grounded into powder for final use.
