Executioner: New Visual-Kei Rock Music Fighting a Time Loop

Executioner

In the mixed-media project Executioner, salvation for humanity means the severing of time, the theft of the future, and the end of present-day humanity, all through visual-kei rock music.

Introduction

Executioner is an original mixed media project created by HOTZIPANG and features character designs by Ajichika. The music is distributed by UNIVERSAL MUSIC JAPAN.

The project promises to be all about battle action, combining apocalyptic thinking (endless loop of the end of the century), Sentai heroes, and visual-kei rock.

The 3 teams, “Beelze Executioner’s“, “Asta Executioner’s“, and “Balbe Executioner’s“, each contract with demons and engage in a death battle for the future of humanity.

The music uses the latest original works by Japanese visual-kei rock artists, and the members’ stories unfold around the powerful and refined music to be released.

In addition, using attractive characters, a profound story, and exhilarating battle action, Executioner aims to create a new type of entertainment content and plans to develop it across multiple media platforms.

A promotional video is out.

Synopsis

1999. The end of the century.
The world was filled with apocalyptic thoughts brought by the "Great King of Terror." Most people took it as entertainment and enjoyed it, but unknown to them, the "Great King of Terror" descended from heaven to save humanity.

The Great King of Terror was a saint who had ascended to the throne of God in the past.

However, salvation for humanity meant the severing of time, the theft of the future, and the end of present-day humanity.

In order to save humanity, the saints who descended to the present were Saint Francesco, Saint Barnaba, and Saint Bartholomeo.
Humanity was unknowingly trapped in an eternal loop of 1999, unable to welcome the year 2000.

The loop of the end of times killed the future, and present-day humanity ended in 1999 while the saints tried to create a new human race.

However, fallen angels who disagreed with this plan appeared in the present.
They were the demons who manifested in the form of the archangels who were once in heaven: Beelzebub, Barbatos, and Astaroth.

If there were no evil deeds or fear towards them from humanity, the demons would disappear. Therefore, they couldn't end humanity.
However, the three demons couldn't launch a direct attack on the saints.

When they met, the demons were instantly purified with the "Blessing of Forgiveness". Therefore, the demons turned their attention to visual-kei rock music, which was the music that the saints disliked and associated with chaos, pain, curses, and darkness.

Beelzebub, Barbatos, and Astaroth made contracts with chosen humans and gained the power of "Demon Transformation" (Akuma Henshin) to save humanity from the time loop.

When they shout "Demon Transformation" (Akuma Henshin), they transform into visual kei bands.
After the transformation, even if the human couldn't play an instrument, their spirit would automatically turn into music, and they could play the instrument flawlessly.
