The classification of this plant, along with almost all other 'Echinodorus' grown in the aquarium hobby, has recently been revised - these plants now belong to the new 'Aquarius' genus.

Aquarius 'Rose', commonly known as Echinodorus Rose, is a beautiful and colourful aquarium plant that can add a touch of pink to the aquarium. With its hot pink leaves that fade to orange and yellow-green with age, this plant is sure to make a stunning centerpiece in any aquascape.

To maintain its vibrant colours, Echinodorus Rose requires high light and good growing conditions. With the right amount of light and nutrients, most of its leaves will remain a bright pink, creating a stunning contrast against the greenery of other plants in the tank. In lower light conditions, the older leaves will turn green faster, and the new leaves will more of a tan colouration.
