Heading to El Paso Comic Con 2021? What to know before you go

El Paso Comic Con, El Paso's largest pop culture event, returns this weekend with comic book creators, TV and voice actors, and lots of multimedia vendors.

When is El Paso Comic Con?

 Comic Con will take place from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday, Sept. 10, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 11, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 12, at the El Paso convention center.

How much are El Paso Comic Con tickets?

General admission tickets are $20 Friday, $35 Saturday and $30 Sunday for ages 10 and older; children younger than 10 get in free with a paid adult. A weekend pass is $65 and a VIP pass is $150. They are available online atticketmaster.com.

The 2018 El Paso Comic Con which continues through Sunday hand plenty of costumes for people to check out as fans of all ages filled the El Paso Convention Center Saturday.

Five celebrities to meet at Comic Con

The Comic Con will have a slew of celebrities from anime, film and television shows. Here are some to look out for.

Naomi Grossman plays Pepper in FX's hit series "American Horror Story."

Naomi Grossman: The 46-year-old American actress plays Pepper on "American Horror Story." She has also appeared on episodes of "Destination Truth" and "Sabrina, the Teenage Witch."

Grossman will be part of a Q and A panel at 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 11 in the El Paso Room.

Giancarlo Esposito is Moff Gideon in "The Mandalorian" Season 2.

Giancarlo Esposito: The television and film actor is known for being on "The Mandalorian" and "Breaking Bad." He has had a career spanning five decades that includes acting in films in the "The Maze Runner" franchise.

"My Hero Academia": Several voice actors from the popular anime, in which characters have quirks as super powers, will be available at Comic Con. They are: Jason Liebrecht (Dabi), Amber Lee Connors (Ms. Joke), Kyle Phillips (Denki Kaminari), and Chris Wehkamp (Shouta Aizawa/Eraserhead).

Enjoy the "My Hero Academia" panel with Wehkamp, Connors, Liebrecht, and Phillips at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 11, in the Juárez Room.

Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake will greet fans.

WWE wrestlers: Brutus “The Barber” Beefcake and Greg “The Hammer” Valentine are known for their professional wrestling careers in the WWE. The tag team are members of the WWE Hall of Fame.

An autograph session with Beefcake will be at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 12, at his booth.

Jim Shooter is a longtime writer, artist and editor for Marvel Comics. Shooter was the ninth editor-in-chief of Marvel from 1978 to 1987. According to marvel.fandom.com, Marvel enjoyed some of its best successes during Shooter's tenure as editor-in-chief, most notably "Chris Claremont" and John Byrne's "Uncanny X-Men" and Frank Miller's "Daredevil." 

Shooter will lead a talk on "Writing for Comics!" at 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 11, in the Juárez Room.

He will also talk about the History of Marvel Comics at 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 12, in the Juárez Room.
