good phone, although there is no hardware camera button to be found on it. also i prefer keeping it at version 8.0 for the music app alone. i found out the hard way and had to flash back but it is working well for me now. this phone is nice compared to the ativ odyssey i had before, though even that one had a camera button. the battery life leaves something to be desired during heavy use, but could last the day easily under easy use. i like this phone and would recommend it to one of the few people in the market for an older windows phone, which i have yet to meet as it is probably a small market, but one that exists nonetheless i assume.

This phone does not work well with Cricket, AT&T or T-Mobile. I have tried many ways to get it work with Cricket under AT&T; but text messaging do not work well. Sending or receiving large messages or picture did not go through. I called Samsung support, I took it to Best buy, and Cricket support they could not make it work. Using it for call or internet is good but the only problem was the text messages.

The phone is OK, nothing special. This is a replacement for the HTC One M8, because the battery started overheating and was not replaceable. I tried this one because the battery is replaceable. The HTC has better reception, better speaker and no complaints from callers on the other end. If it were not for the battery issue I would rather have the HTC. It is not a bad phone, it is just that the HTC was better.

I wanted a fast windows device (not to be used as a phone) and this fit the bill. Its a fast device for the internet, emails, and messaging. It does what I needed.

with an msrp of $599 you know it was a great phone when it was first out, and 3 years latter its even better since you can get one brand new for about 100 bucks, built on the popular S4 format, it uses the same battery so you can swap them out and they are easily to find, but the battery last like 30 hours so not so sure I will be needing one. the screen is BRIGHT and vivid, even in the sunlight , MY HTC one sucked in sunlight and this one is still visible and readable . great camera great camera software, there are three major differences between this phone and the htc One m8, the first is the lower storage size, only 16 gb, but there is a sd slot so you can add 64 more. the second is the single rear speaker as apposed to the dual front speakers on the ONE. I had the ONE for just over 2 years, and I will tell you I never really used the front speakers and the sound was a little tinny , the one rear speaker on this bellows out so loud and clear I can hear the radio playing 3 rooms away. the third difference is only that they did not market this phone well, so no one has have heard of it. don't let that keep you back, this phone is a must buy for windows phone lovers and anyone looking for a solid "new" smart phone that will work out of the box, no messing with refurbs when this one is only 100 bucksRead full review
