Great laptop just a little too old for todays Internet
I was looking for a 12" laptop that would be used to surf and not much else. I'm not a huge fan of Mac's but the price was right. It's a little slow in general which I expected from an 800MHz processor/256M of ram in a time of duo core's and 4G+ of RAM but it won't actually play most other video's from Youtube, iTunes, etc. They are unwatchable and no amount of tweaking will make them play properly. Excepting that it's a well made laptop and would be great for kids (nickjr.com, etc), classroom notes and whatnot. OSX is interesting...very Linux-esq except a little more polished. Love this Ibook G4
I recently lost the use of my apple mac book and tried to use an IBM laptop. I was completely lost until I got this Ibook it is not the fastest or newest but it does what I need. I like things simple and that is what this Ibook does for me. Im hook on them for always. Love the Ibook G4

Very good buy and happy with Apple 12,1 laptop.
I bought 2 of these and they are great games and facebook or internet, the dvd drives work great for movies also. There are other brands with more software but if you are looking for less expensive the Apple 12.1 laptops are a great buy.
