About this product

Product Information

Iron Maiden's live album DEATH ON THE ROAD captured the heavy-metal legends at a stop on their 2003 tour, which promoted both that year's DANCE OF DEATH and the best-of collection EDWARD THE GREAT. Recorded at the Westfalenhalle Arena in Dortmund, Germany, this concert film presents DEATH ON THE ROAD in visual form, with Maiden tearing through newer fare from DANCE OF DEATH as well as older classics like "Can I Play with Madness" and "The Trooper" for a potent showcase of singer Bruce Dickinson's soaring vocals and the band's trademark three-guitar assault.

Very happy with my experience! It arrived quickly, was accurate to the image, & was in good condition. Even though yours was more expensive, I choose yours because you included actual photos of the item & you had a great seller rating - you definitely deserve it! I was so impressed by the care you put into packaging the disk with the cardboard not just on the outside, but also the inside of the case to protect it from dislodging and scratching itself up. Real attention to detail - thank you!

  • Beter than Rock In Rio. Possisby best Maiden ever,

First off, this DVD set to the best of my knowledge was never released in the states because of a defect in the playing of the disks. Any copy you get is likely to have come from Canada, but will play on your player. The problem is that at random parts durring the show the DVD skips back to the menu. That being said, this has to be the best Maiden concert I've ever seen. Yes even better than Live After Death, I suppose that point could be up for argument but I'm prety sure I'm right. High points of the show are Dance of Death and Paschendale. The theatrics and costumes will make you like the songs even more than you do now. The Journeyman Fear of the Dark and Hallowed be Thy Name are also strong points. The weak points are the fact that after 25 years there is not enough time in a show to ...

  • Excellent DVD

I do not know what is better on this DVD, the concert itself, or tons and tons of bonus material. The concert is really great, it has vsery nice setlist. Some people say that camera is never stays for more than a couple of seconds, but that is the point of life concerts, that is how it should be. The songs are fast and energetic, so the camera has to move constantly. During couple of slow songs the shots are more steady. The bonus material is just awesome, it is 200!! minutes long. It is very interesing. I very recommend you this DVD, if not for the concert itself, then for the bonus material!!!

  • is a good concert , but has some problems

this is a good concert, i like iron maiden but this dvd has some problems , in the dvd with stereo sound i can't heard all concert because he lost the sound in pashendale , otherwise the dvd with 5.1 sound is very good, other problem is that the camera run too fast. i decide to buy it because i'm a good fan of iron maiden , i expect that they fix the problems in this dvd because i'd like to buy it again.

  • New DVD, Same Problems

The new DVD still has the same defects(on both the 5.1 and stereo in the same places, too)when it was originally came out.Wrathchild has a bit of static and tracks 5,6,7,and 8, after the songs are played, goes back to the menu. you have to select the next track. it is a pain. After that it's perfect. I don't they corrected it at all. But, overall, it was a fantastic show! the editing was not as bad as some has said.

  • The pack was clearly received.Thankyou for your loyalt

I like hard rock music and i'm a collector. I have more than 600 cd's and over 100dvd's but i want more and more. I will be happy if you can find in future some titles of my favourites.
