Actually, this is a replacement to a CD that I've owned and misplaced. I was very happy to get it, because the jewelcase actually had artwork and liner notes that I've not seen on the previous album. The songs that Earth, Wind and Fire sing are some of the most inspirational among R&B artists. But, it is not only the lyrics that inspire but the talent of the musicians themselves that make for a truly enjoyable experience! If you are fortunate enough to own this CD or have one of the 17 songs contained therein, listen closely with a good pair of headsets and you will notice the talent of fine musicians playing their individual instruments and how they are able to fully pair that sound with the vocals of Maurice White or the incredible pitch of Phil Bailey. If there is a bad side to this CD, it is that there is an end to the great songs and that I have to search to find another CD for more inspiration...thanks EWF!!

The Greatest E W & Fire tunes!
I love this collection of tunes. I lost the first CD I had like this and replaced it with a dance collection of the same tunes. Big mistake. This was purchased to replace the original copy I lost and I am very happy now to have this original format of greatest hits back in my collection. I was not crazy about the cardboard cd cover, but was able to use my old cd case and j-card anyway. Would rather have the a classic jewel case with the j-card instead. But no big deal. The CD was just fine! Gave the cardboard holder to a friend here in Nashville who wrote a field show featuring this music. A must-have for any music-lover's collection!
