Also known as the Travancore dwarf pufferfish, is a small freshwater fish native to India.
It is a gregarious fish that likes to live in groups and does well in well-planted aquariums with hiding places and free-swimming areas. The carinotetraodon travancoricus is a peaceful species that gets along well with most other freshwater fish, but watch out for long-veined fish.
It is a fairly easy fish to maintain, but it needs a varied diet, ideally living things, tubifex and bloodworms, adequate living conditions to stay healthy.
It is recommended to provide a well-filtered aquarium and regularly maintain the water to maintain a healthy environment.
