I didn't know people still did that...I haven't seen it in a while
I'd just take her a picture to show her how you want it :-)

Take the picture! Ask her if she can do it first tho and if not ask her who can. Be tough hun!

Your best bet is to take the picture along with other pictures. But unless she's younger you probably don't want to describe it as scene or anything like that. And keep in mind that even if she cuts your hair that way it is up to you to style it to look like that. You don't just roll out of bed with that look because you got your hair cut that way.

Bring the picture, tell her you want lots of swoopy layers on top and in the front but you still want to keep your length.

^ I have to ask, what are "swoopy layers" because I'm a hairdresser and that is a new one for me. Layers are cutting the hair with a certain elevation, I have no idea how you could make them "swoopy." No offense.

Also keep in mind you and the girl in the picture most likely have different have hair types so if he/she cuts it exactly like that, it still won't look like that.

And Danielle. Most the time when people want "swoopy layers" it's time to break out the razor if the hair type permits. I am also a hairdresser and it took me forever to figure out what most people meant

Just ask for choppy layers and a fringe. And for the love of God think about what you're doing, getting "scene" hair.
