    ooohh! This use to be one of my favorites too!! I used to get them from the now defunct Choong Sua Aquarium as well as Gan's Fish Farm.

    Whilst they may look plain at first sight, they have a purplish sheen on their body and fins when they are conditioned and flaring at each other.

    I must say that yours exhibit very nice finnage. Just look at the ventral fins!

    Yorky, you are right they are from CF if i remember correctly you also got a pair from CF too right?

    Benny, Apisto with rounded dorsal fin are my fav. It seems it looks better when it is flaring at the female than flaring at its own image.

    Nice finnage . Too bad i'm the opp. i don't like apisto with round tails not fierce enough...i like the bit family...

    Mine had this orange edge to its dorsal fins. Not very good pixs.

    Hi Outspoken, no i did not spawn cos me got no female.

    Anyway that particular fish is with Francis now and i don't know if he spawn it but i believe he did cos all fishes will produce for him !
