Pelvicachromis Taeniatus "Bipindi"

I picked up a pair of these at the lfs. They were labelled up Bipindi but I'm not completely sure that they are.

Could someone help me ID them.

Hello benzonar,

Well, in the absence of a check stripe (Dehane) and a distinct red margin on the upper part of the caudal fin (Keinke), your P. taeniatus could very well be Bipindi. Enjoy them!

I do not see anything to discount them from being bipindi. Mine had a very scalloped look to the scales like your's do.
