I often keep fish oil in the refrigerator so it doesn’t go rancid. These are very nicely individually sealed, so don’t feel the need to store them in the refrigerator. It’s too early to tell if they make a difference, but judging by the quality of the product, I am sure they will. Superior bioavailability with 70 mg choline each capsule; easy to swallow. No fish burps.

I normally take Nordic Naturals for my omega-3's three times a day but like the idea of getting my Omega 3's from varied sources so wanted to try switching out one pill a day to krill oil. I originally tried another brand with less than ideal results -- it was more expensive for less Omega 3, so I decided to give these a try instead. These are currently 42 cents a pill so more expensive than the NN, (which are 32 cents a pill) so an upgrade, but possibly worth it.
NN has higher levels of Omega-3's (total per pill is 640 mg while this is only 500). They are both from wild caught fish. NN is sardines and anchovies and this is krill. A little like comparing apples to oranges, but getting the variety that I wanted.
These pills are blister packed but I was able to open them easily but I prefer a bottle packaging. They are easy to swallow and don't have a fishy taste. I like that they aren't lemon flavored like the NN. I have no stomach upset even when taking them with water on an empty stomach. It is not labeled gluten free but is labeled that it contains no added gluten . . . a little verbal dance that doesn't really help my daughters who have celiac.
The package I received expires in 8/22 so a year and a half out -- it will be long gone before it expires.
I know this is pricey but I feel like it's worth the cost -- happy!

We're adults and I don't think we always expect everything to be sweet. I'm sure it doesn't effect the efficacy of the product, but I'm on the Whole30 diet and must avoid artificial sweeteners. It's my bad for not looking at the ingredients before ordering, but I won't be buying these again.
