Was worth the wait 16 years for the remastered version, but finally available. One of the best albums of all time. The 2006 remastered is excellent, with a great sound without saturated sound, but far superior to the first CD release so far available, maintaining the coolness of the time it was released.The label publisher belongs to the band together with their own original label on Uk, Mute Records.A classic. Super recommended. See my pictures shared at the top. JASP.

This is the best record of Depeche Mode and Ill tell you why, while maintaining its roots of electronic it touches to the rock part, but not as much as in "Songs of Faith and Devotion", thats when they began to have a drummer, not here, here are the same band from music from the masses, with even more guitars than before, in 1990 an era when grunge was in its peak but also industrial and the birth of rave. This albums represents SO MUCH of this era that is stupid, World in my eyes , Sweetest Perfection , Personal Jesus , Halo , Waiting for the night, Enjoy the silence (it was my least favorite track cause all the fuzz, but it really is a flawless song) and POLICY OF TRUTH , this and world in my eyes may be the most Depeche M Mode track of the album giving a vibe with a beat similar to "strangelove" but even more catchy in the introm, and "world in my eyes" is an example of how Depeche Mode are evolving electronically, just because they added guitars doesnt mean they wornt have better synths, the synths on that song are incredible , and shows that depeche mode here is ready to compete with Industrial bands of this era like "Nine Inch Nails" or even "The Prodigy", yeah sometimes Depeche Mode gets really heavy and dark. The vinyl arrived in great shape, I payed for fast shipping because I was waiting for this albums to be in stock for ages.

While many will say, including me, that Music For the Masses is their best album, this is without a doubt their second best. It has one great song after another, not one song is fluff. The best songs aren't even the hit singles, I always felt Clean and Halo were two of their best, but Enjoy the Silence is damn good. This is withotu a doubt an album ever 80's and rock fan in general should own, just an outstanding album.
