CATFISHED by 9GreenBox; Bougainvillea NOT like their Pic!
Very excited to get my 10$ Bouganvillea growing and draping on our balcony (not to mention the 16 dollar shipping charge I missed). They were very well wrapped, however there were no growth instructions, plants were not labeled or anything on or in the box to indicate they were even plants or who sent them. When I opened the box I was happy to see plants but for the world could not recall ordering them. Wow, I thought, a late Christmas present? An extra from some happy vendor? An order i forgot I ordered?There were no blooms and one layer of branches, nothing like the pics advertised. One poor little guy reminded me of the Charlie Brown Christmas tree. A single leaf at the end of a single stem, wilted just a bit with two pulled free leaves on the potting soil. I'm still not sure she will make it. The other two were a bit more mature but not by much. I'm not even sure they are Bougainvillea.Thinking back, the cost of shipping at the end, a nameless box on delivery, I should not have been surprised when nobody responded back to me when I asked if these were the same three plants I ordered from 9GreenBox? Because, I added, they look nothing like the pictures in the order with flowers, color and 2-3 tiers of limbs all full of healthy green leaves. Nobody has gotten back to me yet. For almost 50 bucks it should have been more. Under 5, I have no complaint. I hate dying plants and I'll do my best to keep them alive. Yet, I feel I can't let them get away with this.Thumbs down. Not as advertised

I ordered a white Bougainvillea, but it turned out to be a peach-colored plant. It appears healthy, but I have this color and specifically chose it for the white variety. The plant arrived without any flowers, so I had to trust in the advertised description of it being white. I am very unhappy about this situation!

There were no blooms and one layer of branches, nothing like the pics advertised. One poor little guy reminded me of the Charlie Brown Christmas tree. A single leaf at the end of a single stem, wilted just a bit with two pulled free leaves on the potting soil. I'm still not sure she will make it. The other two were a bit more mature but not by much. I'm not even sure they are Bougainvillea.
Thinking back, the cost of shipping at the end, a nameless box on delivery, I should not have been surprised when nobody responded back to me when I asked if these were the same three plants I ordered from 9GreenBox? I ordered my plant 3 yrs ago. I basically received a small twig in a pot with 4-5 leaves on it. I didn't have much hope but it's been growing beautifully. First pic is my plant inside the house for the winter, second pic is my plant outside in the summer. The sun makes flowers turn into a beautiful bright pink! Thank you 9greenbox!
