Rounded fruits without stalks in the axils of leaves. Erect plant. Alternate leaves, attenuate near the bottom. Flowers solitary in axils, 4 sepals, no petals. Capsules oblong.
Natural History
Cylindric-fruit seedbox grows in wet places in ditches and swamps throughout Louisiana and eastern Texas.
