In 1973 the British experimental rock band Pink Floyd released Dark Side Of The Moon. Many have considered this to be the greatest rock album ever created. It is considered to be a late 20th Century cultural touchstone. It is iconic in that it is a concept album with a central theme running through it, with its 10 songs dealing with war, greed, sanity, politics, philosophy, religion and death. This type of album had never really been attempted before then, except for perhaps, Sergeant Pepper.

I bought the original vinyl album in 1974 and was blown away by its running theme/story, something I had never seen before. The messages contained in it have stuck with me over the years. The ability to now add video to the music to enhance the overall message of the album is something I've wanted to do for a long time. Some of the video clips used were created as backdrop scenes for Pink Floyd concerts, but that still left large gaps to be filled with found video that I felt captured the essence of the lyrics. Now that I have the ability and resources to marry music and video I decided to create this video.
I recommend you watch the video all the way through to get the full context/message of the lyrics and video. Thanks.
P.S. BE SURE TO TURN UP THE VOLUME SO THAT YOU CAN HEAR ALL THE THIRD PARTY COMMENTS THAT WERE RECORDED AS PART OF THE ALBUM.
