Oscars 2021: Colman Domingo's hot-pink suit is winning all the praises

Actor Colman Domingo made quite a statement at this year's Oscars red carpet. He was the first to arrive on the red carpet wearing a head-to-toe, custom-tailored pink suit from Versace. The suit had a striking design enriched with lustrous crystal-embroidery in a degradé pattern. It took 150 hours to do the sequined embroidery work on the suit.

Sharing more details about the look the actor shared on his social media and wrote, " Custom-tailored suit in a vibrant fuchsia color, iconic for Versace.Composed of a suit jacket with a peak lapel, enriched by an embroidery with an liquid effect made of 4500 precious Swarovski crystals and sequins that cover the shoulders of the jacket in a degrade effect. A shirt in tone with the same embroidered placket, the vest and the trousers with smoking bands,as well as the golden buttons with a Medusa detail complete the look. 150 hrs of embroidery work!"

Among the sea of breathtaking gowns on the red carpet, Colman's hot-pink look is winning the Internet and we are head over heels with this look. One Twitter user wrote, " OMG Star-struck #ColmanDomingo so handsome in pink. Loving." Another user shared her reaction to the pink suit and wrote, "Colman Domingo has brought EVERYTHING to the red carpet. The colour, the fit, the details, and the fact it's a three piece??? heaven." sic.

Colman's Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom also made history at this year's Oscars by winning the best makeup and hairstyling. Hairstylists Mia Neal and Jamika Wilson are the first Black women to win in this category.
