Rani Mukerji, who was last seen in Mrs Chatterjee vs Norway, recently opened up about her views on acting, awards, and the importance of audience feedback. She expressed that the most rewarding aspect of her work is when people genuinely wish her success in winning awards and values the heartfelt recognition from audiences.
"The most rewarding thing is when somebody comes and tells me that they wish I win all the awards.
That's genuine and that, in itself is an award," Rani told India Today.
Talking about her dedication to bringing characters to life on screen, Rani shared her perspective on connecting with audiences through her roles. "We have to make our audiences happy," she remarked, and further added, "If they see my film and they get moved by it, that's rewarding."

Rani also delved into her approach to receiving feedback from viewers as it contributes in her growth as an artist. "It's important to know how the audience perceives my films and what they think about," she stated, underscoring the learning experience that comes with every project, regardless of its commercial success.
She lauded the honesty of audience critiques by saying, "They are spending their hard-earned money and they have all the right to tell you whether they loved you or hated you. It's the most honest critique to have because they have no agenda. They won't come with an agenda to hate a film."
Rani is celebrating her 46th birthday today. She had pre-birthday celebration with the paparazzi. She was all smiles as she cut the cake with the paps, while she received a bouquet from them.
