We had a great deal of local recommendations from family and friends. It reminded me of Steak & Shake from many years ago. This was the first time we visited and will be back when there is not a crowd. No longer the newest Krekel's in Decatur-land but retains the wonderful food options. If you want a hamburger cooked fresh on the grill with crispy edges and grilled onions, this is your place. The fries are great, although the onion rings are just so-so. This place is on my "must stop" list because they always have lemon custard softserve available, which is hard to find in the winter here. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
