It is my passion to guide you in making music a part of your lifelong journey. What speaks to you and how will you let music speak for you and through you. 

I have 20 years experience in teaching both piano and voice and have been teaching in North Phoenix for 8 years. A majority of my studio focuses on musical theater, preparing for auditions and learning sight singing and theory to strengthen their abilities.  

When learning to play piano, it's important to know how posture, hand positions and fingering can assist in a quicker development of skills. The voice, also an instrument not much different than any other instrument. It needs to be held properly, operated properly in order to create the best tone and sound possible. These are only pieces of the process. It's also important to know and understand all the symbolism of music and how it relates to the voice, just as important for pianists to know. In an hour lesson we will warm the voice or fingers up, work on music reading and theory, learn to sight sing or read, and work on vocal tone or touch and performance of pieces. What you choose to work on is up to you and can range from classical, foreign language, contemporary or Broadway tunes. I would love the opportunity to work with you on developing your musical passions.
