Katie Holmes steps out as Jackie O

It’s a blast from the past.

Katie Holmes is playing Jackie O in an upcoming miniseries, “The Kennedys: After Camelot.”

Filming in Toronto on Thursday, the actress stepped out in a quintessentially classy getup: brown heels; billowing trousers, a turtleneck and a smart striped jacket.

Holmes also donned Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis’ signature oversized sunglasses and a gold necklace for the scene, in which she is mobbed by a gaggle of photographers as she walks down the street and attempts to enter a bar.

The series, which started filming this spring and is set to air in the spring of 2017, also has Matthew Perry playing Ted Kennedy.

Cable channel Reelz is spearheading the four-episode project, which is a followup to its “riveting, brutally honest” miniseries “The Kennedys” (2011). “After Camelot” follows the reeling family as they try to recover from Jack’s and Bobby’s assassinations.

Holmes is reprising her role from 2011, when The Post wrote of her performance, “It takes a while for Holmes to get her Jackie on, but once it’s on, you won’t believe you aren’t watching film clips of the first lady.”

Just wait for round two.
