Rage Against the Machine’s debut album dropped in the early 90s and at first, it was hard to place. It wasn’t really “grunge” nor was it purely “rap-rock.” I guess the closest frame of reference I had at the time was Anthrax. But Anthrax was kind of goofy, and Rage Against the Machine was anything but…
