Lasiodora parahybana-Salmon Pink Birdeater 3-3.5″ Males

$50.00

And there be monsters…..monsters in the form of Lasiodora parahybana. These gargantuan rainforest dwellers hail from the Campina Grande region of Brazil and are capable of legspans of 11″ or more. They’re an overall dark brown with long salmon colored setae and subtle leg striping. They also have horrible, horrible urticating hairs and aren’t always in the best mood, so watch your ten sausages. They’re ridiculously easy to breed and eggsacs can contain as many as 2000 or more spiderlings, so one breeding can sustain the hobby for years. When I bred this species back in 2004, I produced just a tick under 2000. Keep them between 74-84 with humidity around 70%. This is a beautiful young female.
