Update: After months of waiting for its arrival, the Nike Mac Attack “Red Crush” is finally releasing. Select retailers such as 43einhalb are scheduled to launch the pair on July 21 at 3am EDT at a price of €140 EUR (approx. $156 USD). For more info, be sure to review our previous coverage below.

Update: The Nike Mac Attack — or, as Nike is calling it this time around, the Attack — is officially back on the market, and after its signature “OG” colorway touched down earlier in June official images of the forthcoming “Red Crush” pair have arrived. A simple blend of white and bright red that offers classic ’80s tennis style, the “Red Crush” is set to touch down later this year and will be priced at $120 USD. Check out the official images below and read the original post as well as previous updates below for more info.

Update: As rollout of the Nike Mac Attack continues, early images of the “Red Crush” pair continue to pop up. In this detailed look at the colorway, the mesh and leather combination stands out with its signature red hits towards the heel. Release is expected for the summertime, however, stay tuned for additional details and check out our previous coverage below.

Original Story: This year, Nike is digging back into its tennis archives to give one of its offerings from 1984 its first-ever retro release: the Nike Mac Attack. Crafted by the Swoosh for tennis legend John McEnroe, the sneakers are starting to generate a sizable amount of excitement as collaborations with Social Status have been revealed and Travis Scott was spotted rocking a pair that’s been remixed with Cactus Jack branding and his signature reverse Swoosh. And now we’re seeing the silhouette on our radar again in a brand new “Red Crush” color scheme.

Upper halves are made up of a mixture of breathable mesh and smooth leather, the former of which gives its side panels structure while the latter is utilized for the overlays. A crispy white hue covers most of the real estate, allowing its “Red Crush” accents to poke out from the Swooshes, collars, checkered tongue branding, heels and outsoles. In terms of branding, you’ll find the usual Nike Sportswear logo on the tongues while a “Nike” hit lands on the heel. Furthermore, the shoe’s size and style code is printed on the interior medials.

No release information has been revealed at this time, but be on the lookout for Nike and select retailers to drop these in the coming months for $120 USD.
