Skate mainstay Vans is turning its focus on BMX with an all-new Checkerboard Pack for the Spring/Summer 2018 season. The warm-season offering is comprised of the classic Era and Sk8-Hi models. More precisely, the collection sees five unique kicks each executed with two-toned colorways and the ubiquitous checkerboard pattern on the lateral and medial overlays. The Era is set to arrive in three iterations including a “Red/Navy” version that is an homage to the ones worn by Tony Alva and Stacy Peralta back in 1976, as per Kicks on Fire. Conclusively, the Sk8-Hi will boast two options with one swathed in a “Bright Orange/Blue” makeup.

View the Vans BMX Checkerboard pack above and expect an official launch at select retailers this June. For more Vans news, check out the label’s latest GORE-TEX capsule.
