The Harborfields Central School District proudly held its annual New & Newly Tenured Staff Reception on Nov. 13 in the Oldfield Middle School auditorium. The ceremony was hosted by Superintendent Dr. Rory Manning, who welcomed three new leaders – Director of Technology and Security Systems Mary-Lynn Karpenske, Thomas J. Lahey Elementary School Principal Jennifer Washington and Director of School Counseling Greg Wasserman – as well as 16 new teachers and staff members.

Dedicated educators who were granted tenure included Harborfields High School/Oldfield Middle School music teacher Gregory Antonelli, Oldfield special education teacher Shari Collins, Assistant Superintendent for Business Sharon Donnelly, Washington Drive Primary School teacher Melissa Dowd, Thomas J. Lahey Elementary School art teacher Stephanie Hansen, TJL Assistant Principal Dr. Andrea Horowitz, Oldfield teacher Taylor Leone, Washington Drive Principal Kathryn McNally, Washington Drive Assistant Principal Kerry Neira and Oldfield world language teacher Kacey O’Brien.
