These elegant, rarely seen Uatumã angelfish are collected in the black waters of the Rio Uatumã.
This river is located approximately 75 miles northeast of Manaus in the state of Amazonas, Brazil.
Being mild mannered omnivores these Uatumã angelfish are easily kept with other species. Uatumã angelfish are a schooling fish so are best kept in groups of 3 or more.
We currently have them in RO water with a pH of 6.6-6.8, tds of 50 and water temperature 86. They are enjoying a diet of frozen bloodworms and a flake mixture of spirulina, veggie, earthworm and vitamin booster.
