Heterocharax is a genus of characins from South America, with three currently described species:
- Heterocharax leptogrammus Toledo-Piza, 2000
- Heterocharax macrolepis C. H. Eigenmann, 1912
- Heterocharax virgulatus Toledo-Piza, 2000
