Description1963 Holden EJ Premier Sedan (23002310211).jpg
Theatre Grey with a Atherton Ivory roof.
The EJ Holden was built from July 1962-August 1963.
The styling of the EJ was a radical departure from that of the EK, the EJ had quite a low silhouette, the roofline was over 3 inches lower and extended beyond the back window forming a 'cap' effect, the rear fins were gone, it had a lower, flatter bonnet and boot. The old Grey 6 cyl was just the same, but brakes and suspension were improved.
3 models were now available;
Standard; rubber floor mats and single tone paint.
Special; stainless steel side moulds, two tone paint option
The new top of the line Premier; only available in an auto, it got a leather interior, bucket seats, console in the front, pull down armrest in the back and an AM radio. Outside it got special wheel trims , extra chrome and Gold Premier badges.
Engine; 75 hp 138 cu in grey 6 cyl
Sedan; Standard, Special or Premier
Wagon; Standard or Special
