Object history 3 February 1932: transferred to National Museum in Warsaw (MNW), Franciszek and Józefa Krzyształowicz
Notes The mulch (chochoł) is unusually large straw mulch used in Poland to protect young trees and bushes against severe frost. It become synonymous with the undisclosed reality of the Polish nation. The title is also translated into English as Capsheaves.
