Karin Parrow (née Taube) was the youngest sister in a crowd of 12 in which Evert and Märta Taube are other artistic family members. Parrow studied under Bjurström as well as in Paris during the second half of the 20th century. We see both a pasty cheese painting while the paint is thinly applied in other works. There is often a brilliant color that contrasts with dull or bright tones in the subject. More recently, Parrow has increasingly been included in the central group of Gothenburg colorists.
