Equestrian group statuette of Lady Godiva, probably among the earliest sculpted artworks to be inspired by Tennyson's popular poem 'Godiva' published in 1842. The statuette presents Godiva riding side-saddle on her horse, during her famous protest ride through the streets of Coventry. It was exhibited at the Great Exhibition of 1851.
