While baby-sitting, BACKALIVE falls asleep in his hammock, allowing the boy, DENIS, he is supposed to be watching to wander away and join up with the MARSUPILAMI.

The celebrated adventurer PALOMBA JIM and his guide, BACKALIVE, are searching for the treasures of the God of Marzupilcoatl when they come upon the MARSUPILAMI and his little ones playing hide and seek in the jungle.

MARSUPILAMI is kidnapped by the mad Colonel MACDONALD, who intends to study him in order to create a super fighting machine.
